Some specifics of this aspect can be given. For example, in the first location, it is a yellow, empty office space devoid of furniture and interactions. That reflects the monotonous life of most of the population in the Main Reality. Most locations are like this, reflecting the memories of the modern population. Just as that shows the present, the sixth location shows the past. It depicts an old “vintage” hotel, with many features reflecting a warped version of the “look of the past”. This reflects the memories and thoughts of the older population. These two examples can be connected, showing how the Alternate Reality can change over time, and how it reflects to the memories of the population inside it.

Aspect 2

This aspect of the Remembrance Conjecture is the ways in which memories affect the Alternate Reality itself. Just as unstable as the human mind is, the Alternate Reality is too. The pliability of the Alternate Reality is what makes it a fatal trap because it affects the population’s memories, it also changes to match them. This aspect can be summarized as “the Alternate Reality reflects what the population thinks”.

Throughout all recorded years, the Alternate Reality “keeps up” with the time. This is evident in how it is now, and how we can see it possibly changing, along with how it previously was. Just as the population complies with the environment, the environment complies with the population, and the Main Reality. Considering the nature of the Alternate Reality, it is comprehendible why it is forms its environment this way, but it is unclear how.

Dr. R. Peterson said, “What the Alternate Reality seeks from the population is unknown, as no specifics can be given, but what is known is the fact that it is consciously watching. To answer your question, there simply is no way to know as if this moment, but I wouldn’t be the first to assume the reason is beyond us all.” This was in response to an interviewer’s question, “Why do you think the Alternate Reality acts this way?” Though this is not concrete evidence, and mostly filled with assumptions, it can be felt that the Alternate Reality knows.

less memories, have more of the environment feel familiar, they want that psychologically.  The unconscious need for memories is currently undetermined, though many assumptions can be made. One could say that the need for memories is a nature and biological need, stemming from human ancestors’ need to know to survive. But just as valid, another could say that it is a want for memories, with abstract reasons that cannot nor will not be known.

The clarity of the human mind is distorted in the Alternate Reality, and while fundamental, and core memories and knowledge are not affected, “unimportant” memories, especially of past events, are unclear and unstable enough to be changed, modified, or added all together. The implications of this are currently unknown, as no fundamentally important information is being changed, but the familiarity of the environment is, which can affect the livelihood of the population in many circumstances.

Aspect 1:

A graph with a lineDescription automatically generatedThis aspect of the Remembrance Conjecture is how the Alternate Reality population remembers and how memories are altered. It can be summarized as, “everything seems familiar.” Though, the research goes deeper than that to get to the truth. What is observed has been notable, but very subtle. The less memories you have, the more familiar the environment is.

As seen in The Image, the lower the percentile of memories one has, the higher the percentile of how much they think is familiar. It can be thought that the less memories one has, the more they feel like they remember. As the more people remembered, the less they felt familiarity. Based off observations, the Alternate Reality creates fabricated memories and experiences to fill in the gaps, so the closer one is to being a “blank slate”, so to speak, so the more fabricated memories one has, the more familiar the environment feels.

“The absence of information and memories,” said Dr. R. Peterson, a senior researcher, and is the current lead scientist in the search for the answer of memories, “is where the vulnerability of fabrication is at its highest risk. People want to remember. And when it may be impossible, many are willing to let false memories pass by.” This quote allows the information before settle into place and make comprehendible sense. Not only do the ones that have

The Remembrance Conjecture is a two-aspect conjecture that holds value in both aspects of its nature, as they directly connect and affect each other. Though both aspects differ, the combination of both forms an undeniable truth of the answers to memories. The first aspect of the Remembrance Conjecture is the foundation that is what is defined as “remembering”. As such, it is vital to know this, as we may not know what is missing. The second aspect is how memory affects the truth, and what can be defined as “the truth”. May this have a lasting impact on the Alternate Reality, it is vital to understand the implications of this aspect.

This conjecture is directly defining how the Alternate Reality affects the minds and memories of the population. The significance of this conjecture is currently being determined, as it is unknown whether this has a negative impact on the population, but it can be assumed to be negative. Just as the population’s memories are affected, memories also affect the Alternate Reality itself. It is unknown how this happens, but with the consideration of the rule-breaking nature of the Alternate Reality itself, it can be assumed that it is impossible to know.

Both aspects of the Remembrance Conjecture have been proven on multiple occasions with direct evidence and observation of the general population. The types of tests that have been conducted have been conducted with a total count of 23,456 people in the Alternate Reality population over multiple years of research.

There is little research in the field of memories with respect to the Alternate Reality itself. This is a subject originally founded by Dr. R. Peterson, of the Major Exploration Group (MEG). There is a consensus that the Alternate Reality is a strange and rule-breaking environment, but not many have taken the time to think why. This could be because of the struggles in the environment, leaving no time for thought, or simply the fact that it doesn’t seem to matter, even though it does. The “Why” in this field of research is an important question to ask, it’s a question that fundamentally started the field. The questions that have been asked are “why does everything feel familiar?”, “Why does it feel modern, yet nobody could have built it?”. These are the kinds of questions that are answered in this field, and it is of utmost importance that these questions are solved. As it is not known why or how the effects take place, understanding them could give the matter of it a grand importance. In the future of this field, it is sought to figure out how the affects take place, and why it could be detrimental to the general population.
